Dr. Pranav Jain

Instructor of Support and Medical Support Doctor: Panama 2023; Medical Brigades President 2014-2016

My name is Pranav Jain and I’m from Fairmont, WV. I’m currently a 3rd year medical student at WVU.

While completing my undergraduate studies at WVU, I had my most meaningful experiences with the WVU Global Medical and Dental Brigades student organizations. During my freshman year, I had the opportunity to travel to Honduras for my first brigade. It was then when I discovered my true passion for the field of medicine, and it inspired me to continue working with these student organizations. I was fortunate enough to travel to Panama and Nicaragua in subsequent years. Providing healthcare services in these resource limited regions of the world was fulfilling and taught me a great deal about myself. I also formed some of the closest relationships I have after working with the people in these organizations. I look forward to seeing the continued success of the WVU Global Medical and Dental Brigades and am always happy to help in any way I can!
