Hello! My name is Kennedi Lewellyn and I am starting at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in the fall of 2024.

I first learned about Global Medical and Dental Brigades in my SOC 101 class with Professor Brewster. The goal of the brigades inspired me to apply and join this amazing group. This past brigade, I learned so much about diversity in healthcare as well as health disparities in Panama. Throughout the course and brigade, I discovered what it is like to truly serve others whether that be at the food pantries or while brigading in Panama. It is a great opportunity for individuals of all disciplines, and I encourage everyone to apply regardless of their field of study.
