Dental Brigades Vice President 2016-2018

Hi, I’m Rachel Wattick and I am the former VP of Dental Brigades. I first traveled with WVU GMDB during my sophomore year.

 This life-changing experience opened my eyes to my passion for preventative healthcare and encouraged me to pursue my degree. I traveled with this organization each year thereafter because of how strongly I believe in Global Brigades’ approach to eliminating global health disparities. I graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Nutrition in May 2018 and am pursuing my PhD in Social and Behavioral sciences at WVU School of Public Health. My goal is to combine my nutrition and public health knowledge to employ a holistic approach that I learned through Global Brigades to address prevalent health issues we face locally.
