Medical Brigades President 2021-2022

Hi! My name is Morgan Glass, and I am a senior Biochemistry major with a minor in Anthropology from Wheeling, West Virginia.

I took a chance to apply to WVU Global Medical & Dental Brigades as a freshman, and I couldn’t have found myself within a better organization. I had the opportunity to travel with Brigades to Honduras, and through that experience, I learned and grew in every possible direction. I learned about myself and the world around me in ways a classroom cannot teach. I gained new perspectives and appreciations for the complexities of health, medicine, and their social influences both abroad and in the U.S. and West Virginia. And I was able to connect and serve with some of the best people WVU holds. This humbling experience has challenged my ideals and helped shape my future. I am so excited for our next brigade, and I encourage you to take the time to apply!
