Hi! I'm Sam Wilson and I'm a senior Public Health major with a minor in Spanish from Salem, Ohio.

I traveled to Nicaragua with Global Brigades my freshman year and Honduras my sophomore year. I also was supposed to travel to both Honduras and Greece my junior year. Through the service I have done with Brigades I have learned so much about the impact that healthcare and access to public health work can do for a community. Public health has become my passion and what I have chosen to revolve my career around. Each chance I have to do service with Global Brigades is such a humbling experience. I am so excited to continue to work in these countries but also to spread knowledge and awareness of the impact of public health on a rural community with my fellow brigaders.
