Hello there! My name is Ethan Hamilton, and I am a Junior Immunology and Medical Microbiology student from Connellsville, Pennsylvania.

After much anticipation, last year was my very first proper introduction to Global Brigades. Our venture last year in Panama opened up a good many of new ideas, challenges and opportunities for growth. Traveling in any capacity could offer these, but I would argue the opportunity of truly exploring humanity in it’s truest sense really drives these forward within you. This is something unique that traveling with Global Brigades has, as there is no other opportunity like it! From basic triage, to public health and safety measures, to understanding a diverse array of cultures in a new place, this organization has it all.
